Samaawah and Warka Desert Expedition: A 2-Day Adventure

Day 1:
- Departure from Baghdad at 4:00 AM, arriving at the starting point of our adventure by 9:00 AM.
- Explore the archaeological site of Warka, including the Ziggurat and temples, learning about the earliest known writing in history.
- Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Samaawah.
- Transition to 4x4 vehicles specialized for off-road and desert terrain.
- Embark on a journey through the desert, encountering the beauty and livelihood of the Bedouins and nomads.
- Witness the captivating scenery of the Gulf-style deserts of Samaawah, considered among the finest in Iraq.
- Arrive at the camping site around 3:00 PM, where we'll collaborate to set up traditional Arab tents.
- Prepare our supplies, gather around the fire, enjoy the sunset, engage in individual and group activities, and share stories and experiences over a delicious campfire-cooked dinner.
- After dinner, gaze at the starry night sky, free from light pollution, and explore the stars and constellations with an expert astronomer and telescope.
Day 2:
- Wake up to a picturesque sunrise and enjoy breakfast prepared over the fire.
- Pack up our campsite and start our journey back to Baghdad after breakfast, aiming to arrive by 4:00 PM.
